NAB Show Calls For Speakers and Session Ideas

Submission deadline of Oct. 18 approaching

The National Association of Broadcasters is gently reminding everyone that its deadline for speaker/session ideas is less than two months away — Oct. 18.

So if you have an idea for a keynote or lecture, panel discussion, roundtable discussion or a workshop that might be of interest to a broadcast industry audience, the NAB would like to hear from you.

The NAB has provided these handy guidelines:
•Keynote or Lecture — Solo speaker, suitable for consideration as a Conference Keynote, Super Session or General Session presentation.
•Panel Discussion — Moderator-led panel featuring experts discussing a particular topic.
•Round Table Discussion — Facilitator-led round tables featuring dynamic interaction with attendees discussing a variety of related topics. •Workshop — Structured education presented progressively over the course of 4-6 hours.

The topics could fit into one of these large categories: Broadcast Engineering Conference Technical Papers; Broadcast Management Conference; Creative Master Series, Media Management in the Cloud; Military and Government Summit; and the Technology Summit on Cinema.

The NAB has kindly provided a useful page here to jigger the brain cells. The NAB Show is April 5–10, 2014 in Las Vegas.
