The radio industry can now pick up some new summer reading, as Teak Publishing has announced that the Summer 2017 International Shortwave Broadcast Guide (ISWBG) electronic book is now available.
The guide was written by Gayle Van Horn of W4GVH. The ISWBG is a guide to all of the known longwave, selected mediumwave and shortwave radio stations that are currently broadcasting, including by-hour station schedules as well as language services, frequencies and world target areas.
ISWBG is now in its eight edition and includes new entries titled “Surfing the Shortwave Radio Bands Without a Radio,” “Summertime Listening on Shortwave,” and “When News Breaks: Getting Your News from the Front Lines Through Streaming Media.” An expansion of “Who’s Who in the Shortwave Radio Spectrum” is also included.
