New York State Broadcasters Re-Up Donovan

He has held the role since 2011

David Donovan will continue to lead the New York State Broadcasters Association as its president and executive director for three more years, the executive committee announced this week. Donovan has held this role for six years.

“Broadcasters face many challenges in today’s hyper competitive marketplace. NYSBA’s mission is to make sure they have the tools and the regulatory environment that will allow them to thrive and prosper so they may serve their communities,” Donovan said in the release.

Before taking on this role at NYSBA, Donovan worked in Washington, where he held a variety of positions representing broadcasters and also served as the media counsel to the late FCC Commissioner James H. Quello.

NYSBA represents more than 400 radio and television stations throughout the state of New York.
