NJBA Announces Conference Theme

“Broadcasting: Challenge and Triumph!” event will be held in Atlantic City, June 17–18

The New Jersey Broadcasters Association has announced the theme for its 2014 conference and gala, which will be held June 17–18 at Caesars Palace in Atlantic City.

“Broadcasting: Challenge and Triumph!” will focus the organization’s 67th annual conference on what it calls “past achievements and have a healthy look forward to the myriad challenges that lie ahead” in a recent NJBA Weekly Newsletter.

Topics to be explored include: “Performance Tax to Spectrum,” advertising and the tax code, radio’s competition on the dashboard and severe weather’s impact. Additionally, the NJBA will discuss programming and crisis management for stations, as well as technology’s role in the future of radio.

In the upcoming months, additional conference information will be found on the NJBA website.
