NRB Announces Keynote Speakers for 2014 Convention

Lauren Libby, Wayne Pederson, Wayne Shepherd lead the way for religious broadcasters

The National Religious Broadcasters have announced the speakers headlining the keynote session at the NRB 2014 International Christian Media Convention in Nashville, Tenn, from Feb. 22–25, 2014.

The Feb. 25 panel will consist of Lauren Libby, president and CEO of TWR International; Wayne Pederson, president of HCJB Global; and Wayne Shepherd, owner and president of Wayne Shepherd Communications.

Libby became global media ministry TWR’s fourth president in December 2008. He formerly served with The Navigators in Colorado Springs, Co., as the chief operations officer. He currently serves on the board of directors for the National Religious Broadcasters, the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability and Northwestern College. He also co-founded Educational Communications of Colorado Springs, which comprises 15 radio stations and 28 translators.

Pederson is also the chief spokesperson for HCJB Global’s medical outreach efforts. Pederson has focused on media ministry in local communities through Northwestern College Radio and Moody Broadcasting. He has also served with the National Religious Broadcasters, Christian Music Broadcasters and Mission America.

Shepherd has more than 40 years of experience as a programming manager and radio host. At Wayne Shepherd Communications, he also serves as a radio host, interviewer, VO talent and consultant. Shepherd hosts nationally syndicated radio programs, including “Walk in the Word with James MacDonald,” “The Public Square with David Zanotti,” “The Winning Walk with Ed Young,” “Parenting Today’s Teens with Mark Gregston” and “Know the Truth with Philip De Courcey.” Additionally, he serves on the boards of Russian Ministries and Far East Broadcasting Co.
