Broadcast automation developer Spacial Audio and mobile app provider Nobex Technologies announced a partnership.
Nobex was named preferred mobile app provider for Spacial. They said their agreement enables customers of Spacial’s SAM Broadcaster Cloud automation software to add personalized mobile apps for their web streams and podcasts.
Spacial is owned by Triton Digital. Its SAM Broadcaster Cloud allows broadcasters to automate and manage internet radio stations; it includes cloud-based libraries, audio processing and permission-based, multiple user management. Also, Spacial said, the cloud-based system’s scheduling capability lets broadcasters automate programming of content without having to maintain reliable, redundant live streaming systems. Stations can interrupt the automated playback with a live stream as desired.
Nobex says its mobile apps allow broadcasters control over the programming, presentation and branding of on-demand content. It said the app enables broadcasters to generate incremental revenue via mobile ads within the app. The accompanying image shows sample Nobex apps.
