Entercom appointed Bill Prendergast director of engineering for its seven radio stations in Buffalo, N.Y.
They are WBEN(AM), WGR(AM), WKSE(FM), WLKK(FM), WTSS(FM), WWKB(AM) and WWWS(AM).
Prendergast began his broadcast engineering career in Alaska after serving as a submarine sonar technician in the United States Navy. Prior to joining Entercom, he served as a contract engineer working primarily in Alaska.
Additionally, he spent five years as engineering chief with Infinity Broadcasting (now CBS Radio), and has a background with Broadcast Electronics in the area of AudioVault installations.
