OMT Technologies says it has integrated its iMediaTouch radio automation software with Yangaroo’s Digital Media Distribution System.
As a result, iMediaTouch users at 2,500 radio stations can import new music available through Yangaroo’s DMDS into their iMediaTouch library. New music is imported with Cart Chunk track information and album artwork using the iMediaImport module.
DMDS is a Web-based delivery system, free to radio, which replaces the physical distribution of music, according to OMT. It allows stations to receive broadcast-quality music and promotional materials digitally and securely from record labels.
Yangaroo says DMDS integration provides stations with up-to-date info on the music in their libraries and provide images and metadata for display with their Web radio services.
