| MicroMAC Brings MAC Functionality to Small Sites |

Davicom is introducing MicroMAC, designed to handle the remote control and monitoring needs of small repeater or booster facilities.
I/O capability includes eight metering, eight status and eight relays; communications is achieved over dial-up or IP networks.
The company says the MicroMAC is as intelligent as other MAC units, and has extensive condition-driven and event-driven programming capabilities. Additionally it supports voice/DTMF, PC, e-mail, text messaging, SNMP and Web browser, and also allows access via BlackBerry or smart phones.
All MAC units offer 128 internal event timers; front-panel USB device port; rear-panel USB host port; bilingual voice and screens; two modems (one internal); event and action logs; linearization of sensor inputs; alarms via e-mail and SMS; 2 MB internal RAM; and activity timers on status inputs.
Additional highlights include fax transmission capability; 16 math functions; battery discharge test; user configurable screens; 333 MHz processor speed; and RF immunity to 10V/m.
