Building further on an already significant participation, Jampro has won additional FM antenna contracts for the Common Transmission Infrastructure (CTI) project initiated by the Indian government.
Jampro has already supplied systems to nearly half of the CTI sites. The CTI plan foresees the creation of a shared infrastructure for 240 private FM radio stations across India. The current phase involves the setting up of high-power FM sites in the critical markets of Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai.
For the latest contracts, the CTI systems integrator, Broadcast Consultants India Ltd. (BECIL), specified Jampro JADP cavity-backed FM broadband antenna systems, which include multi-bay antennas, RCCC balanced combiners, RCPU-Q patch panels and unitized switch frames, Proline rigid transmission lines and associated RF components.
