Softron Media Services, a Mac media software developer, says that its OnTheAir Studio is an ideal streamer for web radio stations.
The latest version will be on display at the NAB Show. Version 3.0.X has been recently updated with bug and stability fixes.
The OnTheAir Studio platform is compatible with Shoutcast and Icecast servers. It outputs AAC+ or MP3 audio.
OnTheAirStudio uses an internal software mixer for live operation, alleviating the need for a hardware mixer. It has programmable buttons, a 24/7 scheduler for automated operation, a logger and an onboard multiband compressor.
