Wheatstone Delivers New Processors

NAB Sneak Peek: Other WheatNet-IP products to debut

M4IP Mic Processor Wheatstone’s AirAura 31-band processor will be entering its third generation at this year’s NAB Show. According to a release, new features include “improved bass tools, an improved sweet-spot technology algorithm, more EQ options and a newly developed FM clipper technology offering truly impressive loudness and low distortion.”

Another new processor, the FM-531HD is a “budget-friendly” FM/HD processor that contains some of the AirAura’s technology. Also new is the M4IP mic processor (shown, top), a four-channel unit packaged in a WheatNet-IP Blade. Each channel has its own independent processor and preset controls. It is fully controllable in the WheatNet-IP environment.

TS-22 Talent Station Other WheatNet-IP products include the TS-22 Talent Station (shown, bottom). The TS-22 is a single-panel controller for mic, headphone, amp and speaker levels. It too is fully functional in the WheatNet-IP environment. There will also be a new “high-density” logic blade for the WheatNet-IP network, according to a release. The blade adds processing and routing firepower to the WheatNet-IP network.

In addition, making its NAB Show debut is the L-8, a control surface designed for news and voiceover booths. A smaller cousin to the LX-24 control surface, the L-8 is a “tabletop IP control surface that offers assignable sources to any fader and with hot-swappable individual fader modules.”
