RadioDays Europe Podcast Day Sets Preliminary Agenda

One-day fest scheduled for June 15 in Copenhagen

The lineup of speakers for the inaugural RadioDays Europe Podcast Day has been revealed, featuring industry leaders from both Europe, the United States and beyond. Podcast Day will be filled with sessions that look to offer information about content, storytelling, platforms, audiences and business models for podcasting.

Here is the complete list of speakers and the sessions they will be presenting:

“What We Know About the Podcast Audience” — Pete Zezulka, senior planner across radio at BBC, and Elisabeth Lane, research manager for multiplatform, BBC

“Radio and Podcasts, Reaching New Audiences — BBC World Service” — Jon Manel, podcast editor, BBC World Service

“Telling Stories With Sound” — Rebecca Bach-Lauritsen and Peter Albrechtsen, Danmarks Radio

“How to Monetize Your Podcast” — Ruth Fitzsimons, SVP international operations & content partnerships at AudioBoom

“Learnings from a New App for Podcasts” — Tore Hauerbach, digital editor, Danmarks Radio

Colm Roche, producer of the Brit Podcast Awards winning program “Fathers and Sons” will also present. Two sessions, “Numbers, Numbers, Numbers…” and “What I Recommend… the Best Podcasts” have yet to announce their speakers.
