CBS Radio’s Pittsburgh cluster is devoting one of its HD Radio subchannels to a special traffic and weather station.
Entitled “KDKA Traffic & Weather Together,” it will air on an HD3 at 107.9 MHz. Primary supplier of the programming, airing 5 a.m.–7 p.m. weekdays, will be news station KDKA(AM/FM).
That content will feature real-time traffic reports, road closure and construction updates along with weather information. Not surprisingly traffic reporters Greg McAtee and Scott Stiller will be kept busy. Advertisers have already signed-on to the station.
The station will also be available online.
