John Kean is a member of Cavell Mertz & Associates (now Capitol Airspace Group) and recipient of engineering awards from the National Association of Broadcasters and Association of Public Radio Engineers. A former radio chief, he also consulted with Jules Cohen & Associates and Moffet Larson & Johnson. He helped launch NPR Labs and was senior technologist at NPR at retirement.
