The author has been chairman of the Digital Radio Mondiale (DRM) Consortium since 2008. She is involved in the promotion of digital radio all over the world. Previously, she studied foreign languages in Romania and the U.K. and spent her career at the BBC World Service in London, where she worked as a journalist and senior manager.
