Soft Skills and Influencing People

Go to your bookstore and buy "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie.

I always enjoy Barry Blesser’s thought-provoking columns in your paper, none more so than “Soft Skills Predict Professional Success” in the Feb. 18 issue of RW Engineering Extra.

At the end of his article, Barry laments the fact that “I have yet to find the book ‘Soft Skills for Dummies,’ which I may someday write.” That book was written in the 1930s but under a different title. Go to your bookstore and buy “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by Dale Carnegie. I read it when I was in college and it changed my life.
