Lizzie Young will be the new CEO of Commercial Radio & Audio, the organization representing commercial radio broadcasters in Australia.

The announcement was made by Chairman Ciaran Davis, who was handling the CEO reins since Ford Ennals stepped down in April.

Young is former CEO APAC and global growth officer of WeAre8 and former managing director for local markets, group marketing and commercial partnerships at Nine. She has also worked in various roles at GWR Radio/GCap (now Global Radio) in the U.K. as well as Austereo in Brisbane and Sydney.

She will start Aug. 7.

“Young is a media and technology executive with 25 years’ experience across multiple global markets and has worked on all media platforms in roles spanning commercial, content and operations,” CRA said in the announcement.
