GatesAir Goes to CABSAT

Will demonstrate its transmission and IP networking solutions

GatesAir is bringing its latest transmitter designs and IP networking solutions to CABSAT, which takes place Jan. 14–16 at the Dubai World Trade Centre in Dubai.

For radio broadcasters, the company will showcase its Flexiva FLX liquid-cooled and FAX air-cooled systems.

Supporting power levels from 50 W to 88 kW, GatesAir says the “modular architecture of Flexiva transmitters simplifies scalability through identical power blocks, allowing broadcasters to build systems to their exact specifications.” Flexiva transmitters integrate Intraplex IP Link codecs with built-in SynchroCast technology to support SFNs, time-locking audio delivery via GPS across multiple low-to-medium power transmitters.

The company will also display its newest Intraplex solution, the Intraplex IP Link MPXp codec, which it points out, supports — separately or together — AES 192 digital (at 1.65Mbps) and analog composite signal transport over a digital IP path.
