Radio News Hub will offer a free streaming service of the coronation of King Charles III to radio stations around the world.
On Saturday May 6, 2023, the global news distribution company will host a live, eight-hour program from its London studios from 3 a.m. to 11 a.m. (EDT). Radio News Hub broadcasts to hyperlocal commercial radio stations in the U.K. as well as English-speaking stations across Europe, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Jakarta.
Martin Kelner, who has 40 years of radio broadcast experience to his name, mostly for the BBC, will front the historic program with other Radio News Hub reporters situated across the country, according to a press release.
Speaking about the broadcast, Stephanie Otty, co-founder of Radio News Hub said, “These are the times that broadcasters are proud and honored to be a part of — to report on an event that some of us have never seen before and others may not see again.”
