PINEVILLE, N.C.�Bird Technologies, an RF equipment provider based in Ohio, is the latest company, and seventh overall, to join the mutually-owned Broadcast Industry Group.

Bird Technologies joins Orban, SCMS, Jampro, DaySequerra, BW Broadcast and StreamGuys. BIG was formed in 2014 by those six companies to promote consolidation of key manufacturers and service providers in the broadcast industry. The first priority of the group is to consolidate sales, marketing and promotions, but the group also offers a united presence at trade shows, SBE activities, local and state broadcast group meetings and other industry events.

Bird officially joined BIG on March 27.
