WASHINGTON � For those EAS participants who are still struggling with registration for the EAS Test Reporting System � or who haven�t begun the process at all � a new webinar may offer some help.

To help broadcasters register within the ETRS system in preparation for the September EAS test, the Federal Communications Commission is conducting an EAS webinar on Thursday, Aug. 18, at 2 p.m.
�
The webinar will help participants complete Form One, the initial registration form. That form must be completed by Aug. 26, with corrections to the form made up to Sept. 26.

To join, go to the webinar login page�(a screenshot is shown here). On the right under �Join Event Now� enter, your name and email address. Then enter the meeting password: fcc123. Finally, click on �Join Now� to enter the webinar.

As all broadcasters and cable systems should be aware by now, the Federal Emergency Management Agency will be issuing a national EAS test on Wednesday, Sept. 28, at 1:20 p.m. (CT).
