Florida Association of Broadcasters Holds “FAB-ulous” Annual Convention

Event is held at the Eden Roc Resort in Miami

MIAMI, Fla.� The Florida Association of Broadcasters is holding their annual convention today in Miami Beach, Fla., at the Eden Roc Resort. The convention began Wednesday, June 22, and will run through the evening of June 23.

The Florida Association of Broadcasters honored Art Rowbotham as the 2016 recipient of the Bill Brooks Award on the first day of the event.

The award was established by the FAB in 1988 to honor a legendary Florida broadcaster for their exceptional service to their profession and peers. Its namesake, William J. Brooks, is a longtime Florida broadcaster, a former FAB Chair and was heavily involved in charities within the south Florida community.�

Entertainment was provided by country music singer and songwriter Michael Ray.�
