CINCINNATI — GatesAir has tapped Andy McClelland to serve as managing director for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India. McClelland will be based in the United Kingdom and report to President and International Managing Director Rich Redmond.
McClelland’s experience includes stints in director-level sales roles for Ericsson Broadcast Services, Imagine Communications and Harmonic, as well as 13 years as a regional sales manager at Harris Broadcast beginning in 2000.
“My perspective of the broadcast business has always been to look at the headend forward to the transmitter, which I believe is instrumental to helping broadcasters fully leverage the opportunities that come with the latest digital broadcast standards,” McClelland said in the announcement.
