MASON, Ohio � Ernesto Fajardo has joined GatesAir�s sales team as sales director for the Caribbean and Latin American. He is based in Miami, Fla., and reports to Joseph Mack, vice president of sales for the Americas.�
His appointment is part of a company initiative to invest in new resources throughout the region and will include a larger network of regional sales managers to cover specific geographical areas.
�While these CALA countries have different broadcast standards and unique needs, this diverse customer base is facing a truly transformative period,� Fajardo said. �My team is committed to supporting them as they migrate to more advanced broadcast standards, including ATSC 3.0, and deploy more powerful, energy-efficient TV/radio transmission platforms. And in our efforts to drive closer customer and partner engagement region-wide, we will continue to invest in resources and build our team to prepare our customers for transitions, growth and new business opportunities.�
Fajardo has worked for Strategic Product & Services, IBM Global Services and Dimension Data. During his 11 years at Dimension Data he served as Director of Operations, Americas, Cloud Services. While with SPS, Fajardo gained experience leading and managing IT sales and service operations; as well as professional and managed services and M&A due diligence and post-acquisition integration.
Fajardo will also attend NAB Show, representing GatesAir at booth N2613.
