HECHTEL-EKSEL, Belgium�Luminex Network Intelligence has announced that it is the latest company to join the Ravenna partner community, which is led by ALC NetworX GmbH. This community supports Ravenna, an open-technology standard for the real-time transport of audio and other media data in IP-based network environments and is fully compatible with AES67.
The news of Luminex joining the Ravenna partner community comes on the heels of the company releasing its new firmware technology, the GigaCore 2.1.0, which includes IEEE 1588 PTPv2 support that is needed for AES67. Luminex will display the GigaCore at the upcoming 2015 AES Show in New York.
Luminex is a Belgium-based company that develops light control, pro audio, and video data distribution equipment.
