10-month Broadcast Leadership Training program concludes

WASHINGTON The National Association of Broadcasters has announced that the 2015 Broadcast Leadership Training class has graduated following their 10-month, executive MBA-style program that teaches the fundamentals of purchasing, owning and operating radio and television stations. This year’s graduating class was made up of 17 individuals.

Now in its 15th year, the BLT consists of senior level broadcast executives who aspire to become group executives or station owners. This year, the class covered securing funding, identifying stations, developing a business plan, due diligence and operating for success. Networking opportunities with other broadcasters, FCC staff, communications attorneys and bankers were also a part of the program.

Five of the graduates received promotions while they were completing the program. For a full list of the 2015 graduates, click here.
