LAS VEGAS�The AM Radio Boot Camp will be held Monday, April 13, from 10:30 a.m. through 6 p.m., at the 2015 NAB Show in room S227.
The 14 sessions cover issues ranging from the basics (�Introduction to AM� by Rackley) to regulatory issues (�Federal Communications Commission Rules Specific to AM Broadcast� by Alsobrook) to the more theoretical and technical (�Digital Broadcasting on the AM Band: Is it Ready for Prime Time?�). Other sessions cover safety and equipment.
The boot camp aims to offer �who need an overview of AM transmission, the peculiarities of AM and how to insure proper operations and coverage,� according to thewebsite�s summary.
These sessions are included in the full Broadcast Engineering Conference or attendees can register for the Conference Flex Pass or the SMART Pass.
