Enco Systems Offers Free Conversion for Broadcasters

Apr 29, 2009 11:06 AM

Southfield, MI – Apr 29, 2009 – Enco Systems has released ICE, the Intelligent Conversion Engine, a method of transferring audio and metadata from third-party automation systems to Enco’s DAD or the recently announced Presenter delivery systems. ICE allows users of existing and recently discontinued automation systems to convert to Enco’s product line without the need for mass rerecording of audio or data entry, ensuring a smooth, seamless transition. For a limited time, Enco is offering the software to Enco users for free.

Eugene Novacek, president of Enco Systems said, “For the last few months and especially at the recent NAB Show in Las Vegas, we have been approached by many stations concerned about their automation software supplier going out of business or being sold or resold fearing their current product would no longer be supported. The thought of having to re-record or re-rip thousands of audio cuts and the associated metadata made things even worse. ICE gives them the freedom to move to DAD or Presenter without the daunting task of having to recreate their libraries.”

ICE is available at no additional charge for Enco DAD or Presenter system purchasers who are currently running a competitive product on-air. For information, contact [email protected]. The promotion ends Sept. 30, 2009.

Presenter is a new single-screen interface automation product from Enco Systems that features a panel design with integrated tools including voice tracking, hot buttons, recording, database search and display and more. Other features include cut, paste and block move of playlists elements, user tabs, backsell log and a number of new and refined user friendly tools designed for live assist and voice tracked operations.
