Tech Tips, Oct 2009

Sometimes replacement is the only option. This is often true with software. But when the software is something critical such as an audio editor, it might become a budgetary issue. Recently, when Adobe Audition added ASIO support, the ability to record something while editing something else went away. Several users had noticed it, but there was no simple solution other than to upgrade to the latest version. A simple solution is a freeware program called Wavosaur 1.0.5. (

Wavosaur will multitask like the previous version of Adobe and is compatible with most older Windows operating systems.
