Patton has built more than 125 studios during his career, and he enjoysworking on AM directional antennas, rebuilding transmitters andtroubleshooting RF and audio equipment. He has built a 50kW AM (atwo-tower DA) in Honduras, is building an island-wide chain oftransmitter sites in Jamaica, is writing custom software for AMbroadband tuning network design and is building the NPR affiliatestations’ studio facilities in Houston and Louisville, KY.
