Link Research has invested in a second Prism Sound Dscope Series III audio analyzer, which is being used in the Link Research service department.
The Aspen Music Festival, entering its 60th year, will broadcast the event in 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound using DTS Neural Surround technology. Networks planning to broadcast the event include Colorado Public Radio, Minnesota Public Radio and American Public Media.
Auralex Acoustics recently aided the Women’s Audio Mission (WAM), which works to increase opportunities for women in the audio engineering industry, by improving the sound quality of WAM’s new recording studio with the addition of its acoustical treatments. Auralex’s Sonosuede Panels, Partscience Screen6 Space Couplers and Sonofiber were installed in the control room to balance the audio quality of the space.
Grant Broadcasters ordered 10 Broadcast Electronics Audio Vault studio systems for stations in Tasmania, Australia. Grant Broadcasters is one of the largest privately owned radio networks in Australia. The Audio Vault systems are being supplied to Grant by Lumina Broadcast Systems Australia.
WAY-FM and its subsidiary the Christian Hit Radio Satellite Network has purchased a network license to distribute the Radio Spider Audio Downloading Software from DigitalJukeBox.com. This allows the network affiliates to download all programming elements of the daily Morning Show and the Total Axxess programs.
Doug Stephan’s Good Day program will be delivered to cell phone users via Foneshow. Each installment will offer highlights from the radio program.
Clear Channel Sacramento stations KFBK, KSTE, KGBY and KHYL will soon be on-air with a new Wheatstone Wheatnet-IP networked audio system that includes six IP-88a Blades, Navigator software, one WNIP-PC WDM eight-channel audio driver for RCS Nextgen Automation and two WNIP-PC WDM one-channel audio drivers for RCS Nextgen automation.
