Clear Channel Radio has chosen the Adobe Flash Platform for its digital audio and video streaming. A beta version based on the Adobe Flash Platform is now available at Iheartradio.com and will start rolling out to radio station sites over the next few weeks.
The Public Relations Department (PRD) in Thailand has acquired 13 BE FMI 106 transmitter systems for expansion into regions beyond Bangkok. This latest order by Radio Thailand adds to a large installed base of BE FM transmitters in Thailand, including recent BE transmitters ordered by the Royal Thailand Air Force and Army and GMM Grammy. The FMI 106 transmitters were acquired as part of PRD’s re-branding and expansion of its radio networks at the national and local level, including eventual HD Radio digital radio conversion.
Lincoln Financial Media has chosen Marketron Traffic to serve as the primary business operating system for the radio group. The group deal included Marketron business system software and Marketron Exchange e-commerce platform for all 15 Lincoln Financial Media stations.
Emmis Communications has formed a strategic alliance with Stream The World for streaming services, and Ando Media for real-time audience measurement and ad management. All Emmis radio stations will be placed on a new streaming platform.
