The 136th Audio Engineering Society (AES) convention will be held in Berlin on April 26–29 at the Estrel Hotel
and Convention Center.

According to organizers, the 2014 European event will feature a full technical program of papers, posters, e-briefs, tutorials and workshops covering a range of audio-related topics.

The Berlin convention, said organizers, will feature a strong focus on sound for picture, recording, and broadcast aspects of audio engineering, in addition to off-site technical tours and social events.

The Project Studio Expo will also make its European debut at AES136, and a technology showcase will provide participating companies with a chance to interface directly with interested end users and customers.
