The latest Wired says the tallest tower in the world is coming to East Asia.
When it’s completed — slated for 2011 — the 2,001-foot-tall concrete-and-steel tower in the Sumida River region of Tokyo will be the tallest free-standing antenna in the world.
The structure, which still doesn’t have a name, will host the digital radio and television signals for Tokyo, plus a mobile TV network.
