The Digital Radio Mondiale consortium has announced that it is now accepting entries for its second DRM Enterprise Award for the Asia Pacific region.
According to the organization, the award recognizes an individual or organization that has promoted DRM, applied the technology and introduced DRM into a specific market.
Individuals need to be nominated by two credible endorsers who can testify on behalf of the individual to qualify. The nomination deadline is Sept. 15 and the award will be announced before the end of 2016. The winner will be selected by an independent board of specialists, featuring representatives from organizations within the region and the DRM consortium.
The first DRM Enterprise Award was handed out in 2014 to SIBC, the public broadcaster in the Solomon Pacific Islands.
