‘Music & the Spoken Word’ Notes 4,000th Broadcast

This Sunday, Bonneville’s KSL Newsradio 1160 AM and 102.7 FM in Salt Lake City will broadcast a special edition of “Music & the Spoken Word,” featuring, among other elements, a recorded introduction from President Bush.
The broadcast, Bonneville said, will be the 4,000th consecutive broadcast of the weekly program, which aired its first edition on July 15, 1929. The company said the program is the world’s longest-running continuous network radio broadcast.
