‘Sequel’ Is New Digital Ariane Leveler

'Sequel' Is New Digital Ariane Leveler

TransLanTech Sound will show a new audio device, the Ariane Sequel Digital Audio Leveler, at NAB. This is the first product introduced since TransLanTech Sound and Broadcast Warehouse in the United Kingdom announced a partnership.
The company, run by David Reaves, says the processor preserves the lack of coloration and wide range control of its stereo-matrix analog predecessor, which earned a Radio World “Cool Stuff” Award four years ago, and adds features including independent two-channel and stereo-linked modes, protection limiting, input/output level metering, TCP/IP and RS-232 remote control, and software upgrade capability.
Reaves said the unit incorporates user suggestions, and is suitable for radio, TV production and transmission loudness control, music production, Web streaming and other uses. It will be sold through dealers. The analog Ariane remains in production.
