Through its Israeli distributor, AETA Audio Systems (AAS) completed a major sale to an unnamed Israeli surveillance organization.
The organization contracted Digital Communication Technologies Ltd. (DCT) after a series of technical tests. It required the AAS technology to carry audio content across leased lines.
One of the main customer-specified requirements was the upgradability of the AAS technology so as to be able to move toward VoIP. Consequently, the customer opted for the AETA Scoop 4+ codec with SIP.
DCT, based in Petah Tikva, has now installed several HiFiScoop 3 LL, and Scoop 4+ audio codecs at sites across Israel.
