ABC Adds Two New Networks as It Seeks ‘Cherry-Picked Audiences’

ABC Radio Networks announced two new program offerings aimed at younger-skewing female and major-market audiences.
“Derived from the realignment of the ABC FM Connection Network, the two new RADAR networks, ABC Female Connection and ABC Select Market, will debut in RADAR 92 to be released March 26, 2007,” it stated.
Company execs say network radio clients are asking for more offerings that are “clearly defined, with narrowly focused targets.”
