T. Scott Fain has been promoted to senior vice president and deputy general counsel of media networks at ABC, Inc. Fain served as senior vice president and counsel for ABC, Inc. since Dec. 2001, where he handled contractual issues for ABC News and oversaw legal and business affairs for ABC O&O TV and radio properties and the ABC Radio Networks.
Fain will supervise legal affairs for the O&Os, plus ABC Broadcast Standards and Practices and The Walt Disney Group.
He will move to Los Angeles for the new position and report to Alan Braverman, senior executive vice president and general counsel of The Walt Disney Company.
