Clay Steely has been promoted to VP, Engineering, for ABC Radio. Steely was previously director of engineering for the ABC Radio group in Dallas. He will oversee the operation and maintenance of all ABC O&O’s, capital investments and technical budget planning, adherence to FCC regulations and supervision of management personnel. Steely reports directly to ABC Radio President John Hare in the Dallas headquarters. Steely joined ABC Radio in 1990 as chief engineer for the Dallas station group.
Steely replaces Bert Goldman, who leaves the post to become EVP of First Broadcasting.
