ABC Radio Outlines State of Union Plans

Here’s what ABC Radio has planned for its news affiliates for Tuesday’s State of the Union Address. Sam Donaldson will anchor a one-hour radio special prior to the speech. White House correspondent Ann Compton will take part in that show.
Then at 9 p.m. Eastern, national radio correspondent Jim Hickey will handle the live anchor duties of the speech itself, plus analysis from Compton, Vic Ratner and Donaldson. The Democratic response will be included. Steve Jones, ABC News VP/GM of radio, called this “one of the most important” messages to the American public and Congress in years.
