Acura, Hyundai Add HD Radio to More Models

2016 Acura RDX, Hyundai Elantra GT, Veloster offer HD Radio

Acura and Hyundai are adding HD Radio to more of their product lineup in model year 2016.

With the addition of the Acura 2016 RDX, the entire Acura lineup now offers HD Radio receivers.

Hyundai announced it is adding HD Radio to the Elantra GT and Veloster as an option, bringing the total number of Hyundai models to offer HD Radio to 10.

The 2016 Acura RDX sport utility comes to dealerships this spring. HD Radio is part of a technology package that also includes an eight-way adjustable power passenger seat, Acura’s dual-screen On-Demand Multi-Information Display, blind spot information and Rear Cross Traffic Monitor.

The 2016 Hyundai Elantra GT arrives at dealerships this month. An AM/FM/SiriusXM Satellite Radio/CD/MP3 audio system comes standard with six-speakers and iPod/USB/auxiliary input jacks. An optional tech package includes Hyundai’s next-generation AVN 4.0 navigation system with a 7-inch display that features HD Radio, SiriusXM Travel Link, SiriusXM Traffic and Apple Siri integration.

A similar tech package is available for the Veloster, which comes to dealerships in May.
