As part of a recent renovation, Barcelona-based Radio Granollers has decided to go with equipment and technology from AEQ.
Among AEQ gear included in the renovation was the Forum 12-fader digital broadcast console, Phoenix Venus IP audio codecs, the Eagle codec, and the AudioPLUS.
According to AEQ, the AudioPLUS serves as the station’s automation solution and has an integrated system for both playout and the newsroom, with workstations for the journalists.
Able to handle manual and automatic playout modes as well as remote playout, AudioPLUS features automatic content scheduling of music and advertising, content generation and editing. Its applications run on Windows OS and SQL server databases.
Radio Granollers uses the Forum in its main studio, the Phoenix for communications and Eagle for the station’s existing ISDN lines, AEQ added.
