AES Expects Best Attendance in Eight Years

An AES official said advance registration for the San Francisco convention is 35% ahead of the pace in the recent past.
The organization estimates it will have 400 exhibitors and 16,000 attendees, which would make this show “the most successful since our 50th anniversary event in 1997,” AES Executive Director Roger Furness stated.
“If the AES may be considered a reliable gauge of our industry’s vitality, the economic climate may be clearing, and the technological environment looks equally promising.”
