Radio World Associate Publisher John Casey will moderate a panel at the AES show in San Francisco on opportunities for engineers in the digital broadcast world.
The panel is Thursday Oct. 28 and will include Andy Butler of PBS, Tony Masiello of XM Radio, Glynn Walden of Viacom/Infinity, David Wilson of the Consumer Electronics Association and David Layer of NAB. It is one of several broadcast-related special sessions.
On Friday Dave Bialik moderates a forum on digital broadcast radio. Saturday, Emil Torik moderates a panel on Surround Sound for Digital Radio.
There is also a Saturday history session about Charles Herrold and his role in the birth of radio broadcasting.
