One of the highlights of the recent AES convention, Oct. 20–23, in New York was an off-site event, “A Half-Century of FM Stereo.”
Held at the P.C. Richard & Son Theater at Clear Channel studios on Oct. 21, a gathering of audio legends discussed 50 years of FM stereo transmission, from its beginnings to the present, and looked at the future.
Now the AES has posted a podcast of the event for all to enjoy. Covering the event, unabridged, the podcast runs about 90 minutes. Luminaries on hand included Bob Orban, Frank Foti, Richard Mertz, Richard Burden and Arno Meyer.
