Tech session details have been posted for the upcoming AES Show.
The technical program of the 137th Audio Engineering Society Convention includes program tracks for Broadcast and Streaming Media, Networked Audio, Recording and Production, among others, as well as historical events sessions and tech tours.
The show will be held in Los Angeles in October.
Special “expos” are planned on the subjects of project studios and live sound. A notable theme is High Resolution Audio, exploring the direction of HRA from various perspectives including “content creation, digital distribution, licensing of hi-res music files, archiving, subscription models, marketing/promotion of hi-res music (and) compatibility of playback devices.”
