AETA Takes Product Innovation Award at Le Radio

The firm’s ScoopFone honored at Paris radio show

The AETA ScoopFone scooped up a prize in the ‘Innovative Product’ category of the “Prix On’R awards during the annual Le Radio show, which took place in Paris Feb. 9–12.

ScoopFone HD is a professional mobile phone designed for reporters in the field. Compliant with HD Voice, the unit features mixing between the mic input and the line input; one input with three selectable gains with a high pass filter of 80 Hz 18 db/octave, a limiter and fader, and 48 volts Phantom power (XLR 3 pins); two antenna ports, two headphone jack sockets; and a phone book.

HD Voice (AMR WB) technology delivers high-quality voice transmissions by extending the frequency range of traditional or narrowband voice calls (300 Hz to 3400 Hz) to wideband audio ranges (50 Hz to 7000 Hz) at the cost of a standard telephone call.

On the studio side, ScoopFone R (rack) features an Ethernet or remote control interface.
